Our Story

We harness our disruptive and joyful culture to deliver unique work and create real change.

YCUK was founded in 2019 as a Community Interest Company limited by guarantee. The roots of the organisation go further back — Christoff Taylor (Co-founder of YCUK) was running creative programmes at Knights Youth Centre (KYC) from 2015 to 2018.

With six non-executive young directors running their own departments, the organisation grew rapidly to 75 members.

In 2021, Yasmin joined Christoff as an executive director and they agreed to share the company 50/50.

YCUK has worked commercially with major brands like the BBC, Palm Angels, Nissan and Mitsubishi, and leading cultural organisations like Lost, Future Shorts, Future City, South London Refugee Association and the Roundhouse.
